The set up is quite simple - adjust the Starlock like a traditional single valve air cushion. Using the attached ball pump, inflate the locking mechanism to secure the client's position. Because of this set up procedure, the amount of air created in each cell will remain when locked, creating a very personalised seating surface without the cost of a custom cushion. The technology allows you to easily address assymetrical seating issues.

Available in a large number of sizes with everything from paediatric to bariatric.

Starlock is available as an option on any armchair and wheelchair to provide extra support and an even better seating base for those with pelvic obliquities.

Available as loose cushions or we can build them into any of our chairs, both static, and rise and recline.
