Care Bag

The Care Bag hygenic bag is the unique combination of an easy to close, hermetic bag with a GelMax super absorbent pad inside.  The active particles in the pad quickly solidify fluids and materials upon contact.  Once sealed, the risk of spills, splashes and odours are significantly reduced.  There are several variants which fit easily most containers, toilets, basins, bedpans etc that are potentially infectious.

The bags are also available in Oxo-Biodegradable Material.  This is an environmentally-friendly solution to huge problems caused by plastic waste.  These products containing completely degradable additives degrade entirely and safely, leaving only water, some carbon dioxide and a small quantity of biomass.  In this biodegradable form the used products may be buried.

CareBag Bedpan Liner

 

 

Used in all applications for bedpans used in: emergency, isolated patients, long-term stay, home medical care.

Once the hygienic liner is placed over the bedpan, the absorbent pad solidifies material and urines (up to 500ml).  The liner can then be hermetically sealed and disposed of in regular waste (as in nappies) or in biohazard waste if the patient is infectious

CareBag Commode Liner

 

 

Designed to prevent commode soiling, the CarBag hygienic liner for commodes provides maximum safety for both the patient and the carer.  Recommended for use at home, in care facilities, or while travelling.

CareBag Toilet Bowl Liner

 

This large size absorbent bag has two applications:

It can be used as a toilet bowl liner, placed over the toilet seat to create dry toilets.  For example, it can be used to collect cytotoxic elements and markers in order not to release them into the environment, or during drug searches.

It can also be used to line various shapes of basins, especially in the operating theatre.
